Please attend this important meeting to find out more about the issues and possible solutions.Alcohol License Policies and Issues in Pacific Beach - Report and DiscussionPacific Beach Planning Group Special MeetingWednesday, August 31, 6:30 pmAt PB Woman's Club (1721 Hornblend Avenue)~ After more than a year of research, the Pacific Beach Planning Group (PBPG) held a community forum (June 14, 2010) and then released a draft report of its findings (February 23, 2011.)~ This report, "Alcohol License Policies and Issues in Pacific Beach" has been controversial in the community. Many community members have applauded the report and pressed for the proposed solutions to be implemented. Others have strenuously opposed the report and its recommendations.~ The only way Pacific Beach will move forward on these issues is through community discussion and collaboration, followed by strong community input to city officials about solutions needed
