NEED THE POLICE FOR A NON-EMERGENCY, i.e. A CRIME NOT IN PROGRESS?

Call the police non-emergency line (619) 531-2000.

  • Ask the dispatcher for Tracking # and record it and the date and time you called in a permanent log. You may need the Tracking # later to follow up.

  • Don’t hesitate to call. Each call is prioritized. Your call will not interfere with emergency dispatches.  Each call is logged and becomes part of the analysis that helps the City determine its hiring needs.

  • Add (619) 531-200 to your mobile phone contact list for quick access.

  • Your name will be kept private.
